Dining Room Built-ins and Walnut Countertop

We connected with our client, a neighbor from around the block, through a local Facebook group. They wanted to level up their dining room to compliment the newly renovated kitchen. We had to work into the design a custom cover for the rooms radiator. 

The cabinets are a matched to the homes original trim, While tying into the Shaker style doors and drawer faces of the new kitchen cabinets. The inner arch of the upper cabinet doors match the architectural accents like the  entryway arches in adjacent rooms. We chose solid black walnut wood for the upper cabinet doors and the countertop to match their new dining table. The inset radiator cover is customized to match the finish of the pulls and knobs. The center countertop and radiator cover are easily removed to service the unit.

MATERIALS & PROCESS

• Solid, 20" wide black walnut wood count top, all from the same tree and in series 
• Solid black walnut (upper) cabinet doors
• All natural wood finishes that are food safe
• Custom matched paint for lower cabinets
• Dovetailed maple drawers
• Solid brass hardware and radiator cover to match clients' chandelier
