Walnut Wood and Minnow Cage Shade Lighting Fixture

A new client contacted us with a request for a lighting fixture for their new home. The only direction we were given was, “we like dark wood and repurposed materials”. We found these minnow trap cages at an open air market in Bryn Mawr, PA and knew these were it! We converted the cages to shades for an industrial design look. For the dark wood, we looked through our reserve of Black Walnut and found the perfect pieces with gorgeous grain.
