Mudroom Built-ins

This project took an empty room off the garage and converted it to a mudroom for the family. The kids are active with lots of shoes and sports gear. We designed cabinets with louver doors to allow air flow for shoes. The upper cabinets store the kids’ gear and a cabinet for easy storing of a Dyson vacuum. The cabinet interiors are maple wood to add to the contemporary design of the cabinets.

Additionally we built a custom finished, thick white oak bench with open cubby space below. We created a paneled wall unit for the hooks to hang coats and backpacks. The inner panels are rift sawn white oak that are finished to match the bench.
