Singer Sewing Machine Custom Table Lamps

We built this pair of table lamps as a prototype for regular production. We had a brief period to enjoy these before a neighbor saw them and scooped them up for their home. As the saying goes; “a cobbler's children have no shoes”. And YES, we can make a pair for you custom to order.

This design started with an antique balance wheel from a 100 year old Singer Sewing Machine and a lovely piece of Cherry wood. To stay close to the idea of upcycling and reusing, we converted reclaimed copper piping as the lamp post. As a finishing touch for the design, we repurposed a pair of vintage silk shades.
